That is very, very sad news indeed
I knew he had been ill, but didn't know that he had died.
He seemed such a lovely Gentleman. He never seemed to get flustered when the occasional mishap happened.
I still watch their programmes on tv.
Like Whups said, " i liked them & they brought a bit of fun to their cooking"
I have seen a tv advert with them on recently and I thought it a bit odd that they didn't show much of Dave in the commercial? Obviously he was ill.

RIP, Dave.

May he rest in peace. I think people liked the style of cooking that the Hairy Bikers did because it appealed to every one and nothing elaborate about their cooking. He will be sadly missed

Always made a good plate of food without all the arty farty stuff like some use. RIP Dave.

I was only watching a new series of Hairy Bikers Go West on Tuesday. So sad to hear he died yesterday, and a tragic loss for Si King, his side-kick for many years.

I loved their style of cooking and their enthusiasm. As others have said, Dave will be sadly missed.

Two of the nicest bikers you would ever meet and so sad that the partnership has ended following the sad passing of Dave Myers

RIP Dave

It's all the sadder because he thought he'd won the battle.R.I.P. Dave.
